character: david_martinez, character: lucy_(cyberpunk) — Cyberpunk: Edgerunners alternate happy ending, travel scene drawn in Studio Trigger's bold anime style with clean cel shading. A traditional Japanese ryokan room on the outskirts of Tokyo, bright morning light streaming golden through the shoji screens. The two are seated on tatami cushions at the low wooden table, dressed in their yukata, sharing a beautifully arranged traditional Japanese breakfast: a lacquer tray for each of them holding a big steaming bowl of miso soup with tofu and wakame, two plump onigiri rice balls wrapped in crisp nori on small plates, a piece of salt-grilled fish with the skin crisped golden, a small dish of bright yellow pickles, a neat mound of spinach ohitashi glistening with sesame seeds and dashi broth, and green tea in covered cups, steam curling up into the morning light. Lucy — a young woman with a short white bob with pastel highlights and red eyeliner, yukata sleeves pushed up as she eats — holds her chopsticks in one hand and a glowing holo-planner above her other palm in the other, its soft blue light showing today's itinerary lines in Japanese, talking David through the schedule with an organized, slightly bossy expression: "the office tour is at ten, then lunch with your team, dinner is free after six." David Martinez — a young man in a navy yukata, cheeks full of onigiri mid-bite — nods along while stuffing his mouth, one eyebrow raised in playful protest at the word "ten", eyes flicking between her face and the hologram, clearly more interested in the grilled fish than the agenda. Warm morning glow washing the tatami, a garden with stone lanterns visible through the open shoji, birds on a branch outside, the quiet hum of a peaceful morning far from Night City, close two-shot across the low table centered on the breakfast trays and the floating holo-planner, soft warm lighting with crisp morning shadows, cozy everyday-travel mood, rich Trigger-style color contrast, clean bold linework.
