character: david_martinez, character: lucy_(cyberpunk) — Cyberpunk: Edgerunners alternate happy ending, travel scene drawn in Studio Trigger's bold anime style with clean cel shading. Interior of a sleek autonomous taxi gliding through an early-morning Tokyo expressway: there is no driver's seat at all — just a smooth minimalist dashboard with a soft glowing AI assistant display and navigation hologram in Japanese, the steering area replaced by a clean flat panel. In the back seat, David Martinez, an Arasaka employee on his first business trip to Japan, sits in his dark corporate suit with the red tie still neat, leaning slightly toward the window. Beside him, Lucy — a young woman with a short white bob with pastel highlights and red eyeliner, in her loose travel jacket — presses closer to the glass beside him, both of them gazing out as the car emerges from a long highway tunnel. Ahead of them the tunnel mouth opens onto the city: the Tokyo skyline spreading out in the pale dawn light — dense buildings, elevated highways curving between them, distant towers catching the first orange sunlight, a faint lavender-and-blue morning sky above, soft haze on the horizon. The tunnel's cool fluorescent light gives way to warm golden morning glow flooding through the window onto their faces, Lucy's white hair and David's cheek lit softly, her eyes wide with quiet wonder, his expression proud and a little excited as he points at something in the distance. Viewed from inside the car at a three-quarter angle across the back seat, the window framing the city like a screen, reflections of the dashboard hologram faintly on the glass, luggage in the far seat, quiet and tender mood of two travelers arriving somewhere brand new together, soft dawn lighting, rich Trigger-style color contrast, clean bold linework.
