筑前煮は、実家の祖母の得意料理でもあります。
食堂のは、れんこんがしゃきしゃきで、
またちがうおいしさでした☺️

Tonight, we had Chikuzen-ni and miso-marinated Spanish mackerel 🥢

Chikuzen-ni is also one of my grandmother’s specialties back home.
The one at the dining hall had delightfully crunchy lotus root,
and tasted wonderful in a different way ☺️
